Andy Gibbs – Director of Security and Compliance
Andy is responsible for all aspects of business and information security within Star. He joined in December 2006, having spent 10 years delivering Security and Business Continuity consulting services to a broad range of companies, including hundreds of SMEs. Andy has extensive experience of implementing compliance programmes to meet industry standards such as ISO 27001, PCI-DSS and BS 25999, and is a fully trained Information Security Management Systems lead auditor. Previous to Star, Andy held senior IT and management roles for companies such as; Smiths Industries, Liberty International, Mars, and Ling Dynamics and understands the importance of aligning technology with organisational business needs. Andy is also actively involved in the design and implementation of the operational processes within Star, ensuring that we can deliver services in a highly effective and secure manner.
