Theale, 17th February, 2010 – Star, a provider of on-demand computing and communication services to UK businesses, has announced the opening of their new corporate headquarters in Theale, Reading. The new office provides Star with a central base in the heart of the Thames Valley and supports Star’s ongoing growth strategy moving forwards. The modern premises will serve as the company’s UK headquarters and will provide a base for its sales staff and management team outside of London.
The opening of the new office follows a successful year for Star, which saw them open their third data centre in Bristol in April 2009. The multi-million pound, 10,000 square foot facility is at the heart of Star’s infrastructure, which has been engineered to deliver utility computing services to UK businesses, providing highly secure, enterprise grade on-demand business services that are easy to use and pay for. Star’s business customers range between 50 and 1,000 employees and benefit from managed services such as email, voice, high availability hosting and data connectivity for a fixed monthly fee. Star also has three regional UK offices in Gloucester, London and Manchester.
