Star receives ‘special commendation’ for excellence in customer service
GLOUCESTER, 3rd March, 2009 – Star, the UK’s only dedicated business ISP, has announced today that it has been honoured in the Real Business - Cisco Customer Kings Awards. The awards were designed to recognise entrepreneurial firms that provide the very best in customer engagement.
Star provides IT services and communications solutions to 4,000 UK based, small to medium sized businesses. The company received a ‘special commendation’ from the organisers in recognition of Star’s commitment to delivering the highest standards of customer care and demonstrated an ability to be innovative when using client feedback to constantly improve the services it provides and nurture long term partnerships with customers.
As part of this programme, Star has devised a ‘one-click feedback’ mechanism so that customers can provide instant feedback on how well Star has met their expectations. This feedback, together with CRM and staff training for team members, has helped Star to achieve a client churn rate of 7 per cent, less than one third of the industry average.
