With TalkSureTM, you pay for exactly what you use. There is no rounding up to the nearest minute. For a 40 second call the cost would be 66% of the cost per minute, not 100%
Many other providers will set a minimum cost of a call and charge the user that amount, regardless of whether that time period is used. Star does not do this.
It is common for other providers to charge users a connection fee. This is where a set cost (often priced at 2p) is incurred even if the call is connected for a fraction of a second, and after that the pence per minute is incremented onto the cost.
Unlike many providers Star will not set a minimum call time. Star believes that you should only pay for what you use and have set no minimum call lengths.
